h2made makes Local CRM. In short: Local CRM keeps your data on your devices and never sends it to us, only crash reports that don't include it.
Local CRM
What Local CRM stores
The contacts, notes, timeline entries, todos, tags and settings you add, in a database on your device.
What h2made receives
Only crash reports and diagnostics, described below. Your contacts, notes, timeline entries, todos and everything else you add are never sent to us.
Crash reports and diagnostics
To find and fix bugs, Local CRM sends reports of crashes and of problems the system detects, such as hangs and excessive CPU or disk use, to the crash-reporting service we use. It also counts app sessions, so we can see how often the app runs without crashing. A report includes the app and system versions, the device model, your language and region setting, memory and storage figures, the network type, a random ID created when the app is installed, and recent app events such as screen changes. It never includes your contacts, notes, todos or anything else you've added, screenshots, or your name or email address. Reports aren't used for advertising or to track you, and every App Store version of Local CRM sends them.
iCloud sync
Off by default. If you turn it on, your data is also stored in the private database of your iCloud account so your devices can sync. Apple runs iCloud under its own privacy policy; app developers, us included, can't read private iCloud databases. You can turn sync off at any time in Settings → iCloud.
Your Contacts app
Only if you choose to import. Local CRM reads the contacts you allow and copies them into its own database. It never changes your Contacts app.
Map
To place a contact on the map, Local CRM sends that contact's postal address to Apple's geocoding service to get its coordinates.
Calls, messages and email
Tapping a phone number or email address opens Phone, FaceTime, Messages or your mail app. Local CRM doesn't see the call or the message; it only offers to log that it happened.
Reminders and notifications
Todo reminders and plugin notifications are scheduled on your device.
Shopify Partners plugin
If you set it up, Local CRM connects from your device directly to Shopify's Partner API with the access token you provide, and reads the events of the apps you choose. The token is kept in your device's Keychain, or in iCloud Keychain when iCloud sync is on. Shop logos are downloaded from Shopify.
Purchases
Apple handles payment through the App Store and Local CRM checks your purchase on the device. We never receive your payment details.
Deleting your data
Delete any record in the app, or everything at once with Settings → Data → Delete All Data. With iCloud sync on, deletions reach your other devices and your iCloud database too.
